Privacy Policy

Last updated August 19, 2026

This document has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer. It accurately describes what Sophrone's code actually collects and does today, but should be treated as a draft pending legal review before public launch.

Overview

This policy explains what information Sophrone collects, why, and how it's used. We collect only what's needed to run the product and your subscription — we don't sell your data.

Information we collect

Account information: the email address and password you use to sign up (your password is handled entirely by our authentication provider, Supabase Auth — we never see or store it in plain text).

Subscription/billing information: whether you have an active subscription, your subscription status, and renewal date. Payment card details are handled entirely by Stripe — we never receive or store your full card number.

Journal/trading information you voluntarily enter: trade records, notes, emotional-state and plan-adherence reflections, and related journal data you choose to log in the product.

Companion-related information: if you connect an MT5 or TradingView Companion, the trade events you choose to report (entries, exits, modifications, and related timestamps/prices) and the market context Sophrone captured at that moment. Companion connections use a scoped access token, never your broker username or password.

Product usage information: discipline/behavioral events, gamification progress, and settings/preferences generated by your use of the product's features.

Technical/log information: standard server request logs (e.g. timestamps, error logs) generated by our hosting infrastructure in the ordinary course of running the service.

Waitlist information (if applicable): if you submit an email address through a waitlist form, we store that email and any note you provide.

Why we collect it

Solely to operate Sophrone: authenticate you, provide the Command Center and Companion features you've opted into, process your subscription, and maintain the reliability of the service.

How we use it

Your data is used to run your account and the features you use — it is not used for advertising, and we do not sell it to third parties.

Service providers we use

We use a small number of infrastructure providers to operate Sophrone, each of which processes data only as needed to provide their service to us:

  • Supabase — database, authentication, and session storage.
  • Stripe — subscription billing and payment processing.
  • Hosting/infrastructure provider (e.g. Netlify) — application hosting and delivery.
  • Market-data provider — supplies the price data Sophrone analyzes; does not receive your personal account information.

Cookies & similar technology

Sophrone uses cookies only for authentication — to keep you signed in and to let our server recognize your session. We do not currently use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics.

Data security

We use industry-standard practices (encrypted connections, access controls, and database-level row security that restricts every user's data to that user) to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

Data retention

We retain your account and product data for as long as your account is active, so the product continues to work correctly. If you request account deletion, we delete or anonymize your data as described below.

Account deletion & data requests

To request deletion of your account and associated data, or to request a copy of your data, contact hello@sophrone.com. There is not yet a fully self-service deletion flow in the product.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information. Contact us using the details below to exercise these rights. We have not made any formal GDPR or CCPA compliance certification claims — if you require one for your jurisdiction, please reach out.

Children's privacy

Sophrone is not directed at children and is not intended for use by anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
